11. Project Summary:
We propose a comprehensive feasibility study
of a commerce park on the Highway 29 Corridor that would include office space,

Recently, Nelson County has invested $6.3 million in water and sewer
infrastructure on the highway from Lovzngston to Colleen. This proposal is to
develop a 200-900 acre parcel on the corridor. The new commerce park would be
marketed by the Thomas Jefferson Partnership for Economic Development, which is
currently undergoing a major fund-raising campaign with a goal of raising $2
million for marketing. Additional marketing would be developed by the Nelson
County Department of Economic Development through it’s web site, which is
linked to sites of the regional partnership’s site and the Virginia Economic
Development Partnership.
